| MT. CLIMBING - KENYA |
Mt. Kenya is a majestic African mountain, very popular with mountaineers all over the world. It stretches across the equator, 193 km north-east of Nairobi and 480 km from the Kenyan coast and covers an area of 580 sq. km. It is Africa’s second highest mountain. It has three peaks; Mbatian, 5,199m, Nelion, 5,188m and point Lenana, 4,985 which is easily accessible by most visitors. It’s never to be forgotten sight. The climbs are not difficult and may be undertaken by any normal healthy person. Late December to late March and mid July to late September are the most reliable months for climbing Mt. Kenya. |

| 6 Days Naromoru Down Chogoria |
Day 1: Depart for Naromoru in the morning arriving in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at camp. |

Day 2: After breakfast, proceed to Naromoru Park Gate before embarking on a three hour hiking to Met Station (3300 m). Dinner and overnight at camp. |

Day 3: Depart Met Station for Teleki Valley arriving Mackinders Camp (4300m) early evening. Picnic enroute. Dinner and overnight at camp. |

Day 4: After breakfast commence ascending along a steep screw towards Austrian Hut (4700m). This will take about 3 hours. Dinner and overnight at camp. |

Day 5: At 5.30 am proceed through Lewis Glacier to Point Lenana (4985m) arriving at 6:30 am. After sunrise, descend down to Mintos Hut for breakfast then descend along the famous Gorges Valley to Chogoria campsite. |

| Day 6: Early breakfast, then set towards Chogoria (32 km). Walk for 15 km before being driven to Chogoria from where you will be transported back to Nairobi. |

| CHOGORIA ROUTE |

| 5 Days/4 Nights Nairobi – Nanyuki |
Day 1: Drive to Nanyuki town arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon spent touring the town and doing acclimatization. Dinner and overnight in a hotel. |

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Met Station. Walk up to Judmier Camp (Old Moses) at 3,350m. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. |

Day 3: After breakfast, depart passing through Mackinders valley, arriving at Shipton Camp at 4,200m. Dinner and overnight at the camp. |

Day 4: Early hiking, with the aim of reaching Lenana Peak which is at 4,985 metre. From this point to the south one can on a clear day see Mt. Kilimanjaro and to the west, Mt. Elgon. After reaching the peak of Lenana, descend to Mintos, at 4,250m for breakfast then head for Road Head for dinner and overnight. |

| Day 5: Early morning breakfast then trek to Chogoria arriving in time for lunch. After lunch depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. |
