Maasai Mara |

This is probably the most famous and most visited Reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (as seen in the film "Out of Africa", much of which was filmed here), an extraordinary density of animals including "the Big Five"(lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) and many varieties of plains game. An impressive feature is the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands from late June, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena, and circled by vultures as their journey unfolds. Their dramatic river crossings are a reality for tourists visiting in early July to August. |

Have a five hours drive to Maasai Mara Reserve via Narok arriving in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge / camp.

Early morning game drive then return for breakfast before embarking for another game viewing. Afternoon at leisure or go for another game drive or relax by the pool or visit the Maasai villages. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. |

Early morning game drive and return for breakfast at the lodge. Depart for L. Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an evening game drive in the park, which has some rare animals like the white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / camp. |

Lake Baringo |
|
| |
Lake Baringo, a brown saline lake is a home for hippos, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds. It is a good stopover site to break a long safari across the rift valley. Samburu is a tiny park but in its boundaries is the best game viewing the Kenya’s north has to offer. Here you will see species you won’t see anywhere else such as the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, and gerenuk which is perfectly capable of stretching full height on its hind legs to snatch an acacia morsel. |

Early in the morning after breakfast depart for Samburu National Park past the slopes of the Aberdare ranges, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. |

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast then later proceed to Nairobi. Drop off at your city hotel. |
