Thousands of antelopes and wildebeests cross over the Mara as they escape the dry areas of Serengeti in search of green pastures on the Kenyan side. Also accompanying these wild animals are the predators like the lions, cheetahs and crocodiles lying in wait as they cross. Many succumb to nature by drowning in their attempt to cross the Mara River. All this is a very spectacular and unique event that is a must see and it normally takes place between July and October.
